Late lunch on Christmas Eve. Awesome and off the scale. This is one of the very best places to feel totally welcomed you will ever find. It’s just exquisite. Beautiful food, great service and very special people who care!! It’s awesome

We booked in advance for my birthday lunch here, every member of our table of ten was blown away by the quality and finesse of both the service and the food. Presentation was beautiful, the drinks were crisp and clean and the pub was warm and friendly. Highly recommend this place, well worth traveling for!

Stopped off for what I thought would be a standard pub lunch, but it turned out to be so much more. The chief Kieran is serving up gourmet Michelin style food which is accompanied with amazing service. If you’re driving past or just generally hungry I would recommend trying.

We were looking for a last minute destination for a family Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday and with one diner Gluten Free/Coeliac. This pub was recommended on a Coeliac Facebook page and we weren't disappointed. Very friendly greeting and a good table. Lovely to be served bread before the roast (so many places have stopped this). Gluten free bread and oil was lovely. All the roast dinners were delicious with so many different vegetables. Nice crumble and ice cream for dessert.

Found this lovely little pub. didn't have food but looked really nice and it was busy for food. Nice little areas to sit and chill, Staff friendly and welcoming atmosphere really nice. asked for a pint of Salem Red Ale got given Amber Ale the barman said it was the Red, partner drank that one but on second pint he had the Red Ale but was very cloudy to be told was end of barrel. I will say though it was still a lovely place, it is set in a beautiful place called Droxford just on the edge of Southampton and near Shirrel Heath, very dog friendly which is nice, Would go again and recommend its beautiful
