For me the bed was hard. The room could do with a bit of paint on the walls. Over all it was a nice stay for me. The young lady who checked me in was very polite and friendly and helpful. Parking was good.
I have stayed in 100s of hotels both for work and holidays, but this is the worst of them all. If there was a rating below 1 star I would have ticked that. Shockingly terrible. There was no Internet. Mobile network struggled. The carpets were dated, dirty and sticky. It looked like it was built hundreds of years ago and no improvement or modernization done since then. Beds were terrible. I woke up with pains on my back, waist and neck after just one night. Food was tasteless and badly cooked. Service intolerable, they said they lacked staff. Loud noise coming from the heating system that kept me up all night.
Would definitely not return.rooms extremely tired needs a very good clean. Windows don't open when asked was told they would sort it out nothing happened. I could go on and on. On the positive side break fast good. Staff pleasant.
We had a great stay at the anchorage Hotel, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast was lovely, the location is spot on too, if your looking for no frills overnight stay the anchorage is perfect and we would definitely stay again.
Stayed in a room for one night. Mattress was dirty, I couldn’t even bring myself to look at the whole mattress but just a quick look and I saw multiple stains. The furniture was chipped and ancient, bathroom door handle didn’t work and the door didn’t shut properly. Paintings looked dirty and the bathroom walls were dirty. The duvet was absolutely disgusting and yellow. We had to be given a fan as the window didn’t even open. I wouldn’t trust the cooked breakfast so I just had toast. Went to an Indian for dinner. If I was staying for more than one night I wouldn’t have stayed at all. The mattress was lumpy and I felt horrible when I woke up. Overall horrible hygiene. Not even slightly worth the money unless you’re like me and just stayed for one night.
