The sign outside says 'Established in 1719' and there's nothing this old, popular pub doesn't know about traditional hospitality. Bang in the centre of Irvine, it draws in a broad cross-section of people, from young to old, from families to High Street shoppers, all enjoying good food and good company. Taking its name from a former district in what is now South Ayrshire, The Carrick is full of cosy corners on either side of the long bar in the centre of the pub. It guarantees a friendly welcome to regulars and first-timers alike, calling in for a Belhaven Best and some classic pub food.
