The Kings Arms is on the A77, 15 minutes from Cairn Ryan Port for the ferry to and from Ireland.
A warm welcome awaits you in both our bars and restaurant, where a drink, soft alcoholic or just a coffee can be had along side a wholesome filling snack from our menu, if something more substantial required and time permits choose from our meals, everything from mac n cheese to fish and chips all made fresh to order by our chef.
We are the last stop for food before the ferry terminal or if just off the ferry and feeling in need for something to refresh you before you continue your journey, why not stop and give us a go.

We visited this quaint little pub on a Sunday evening during a recent trip to the area visiting family. We rang the pub ahead to enquire about food but unfortunately they had stopped service by 5pm. They did,however, inform us of a quiz starting at 7 pm, so we decided to give it a go for a bit of fun. Drinks were reasonably priced and the young barmaid was very helpful and friendly. The quiz was held in the restaurant seating area beside the main bar. There was a nice log burner to keep the place warm, and I noticed a shelf full of board games and puzzles for any kids who visit. The quizmaster was a nice bloke, but we felt he didn't explain some of the rules quite as well as he could have, and there was far too much time left between questions which made it drag on a little. Overall we enjoyed our experience in this lovely little pub and would definitely visit again. There are a lot of events for the local community held here regularly so check them out if you're ever in the area
Omg ! What a terrible lunch. How can you serve Sunday lunch from 12.30-3.30 and serve cold and over cooked lunch. We have waited so long and there was only 1 couple before us. No idea why we waited so long, my son's roast was just horrid.
Glad to see the pub serving food again. Went there last night and it was awesome. Fish was fab.
Staff were very nice, 2 of our party had fish and chips which looked and was delicious, decent sized portions ( fish was huge) Other 2 had Sunday roasts!!!! Food was ok, but very small portions! 1 tiny bit of broccoli, 2 bits of carrot and spoonful of peas, 2 small roast potatoes and a tiny scoop of lumpy mash! Had apple pie for dessert, again was nice but wee tiny portion! I am not a big water but was still hungry after meal, very disappointed!
Me and my husband stopped at the Kings Arms today after a walk for a meal. The food was very nice, good quality and price. I had macaroni with was amazing and my husband had the fish, he said it was very tasty and fresh. The desserts were really good. We sat at a lovely table next to the fire. The waitress, Stacey, was very welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to go back for another lovely meal.
