Such a lovely lunch/dinner. We went at 2pm and it was fairly quiet. We sat indoors as the weather was changeable. Great menu...fantatic food... Welcoming staff. Second time there il be back again

Lovely meal! Very nice friendly owners. Only small issue....don't like passing through a narrow bar to reach the dining room.

After a member of our party spoke to the manager the day after our meal i have decided to retracted my bad review. Thank you for listening to the points that we raised and being genuinly sorry and we understand that there are some teething problems to iron out. We were just a little bit upset because of the money that we had spent. Thank kind regards David

On behalf of our table ov 13 on christmas day, we had the worst meal possible. The bill was almost £700 for what we can only describe as an absolute disgrace. Ther was no brussels, some plates had no veg, the ones unfortunate enough to get roast potatoes were burnt black, the main was lukewarm, not once did alison come to ask us if the meal was ok, when normally she comes out + chats, the trifle was bitter, when all the trifle plates went back untouched we shouldv been asked what was wrong. We did hear rumours the meals were terrible now, but being loyal as last year it was 1st class, when they couldn't do enough for us + spoke to us, we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We would've complained on xmas day, but the meal was already ruined, we will never ever set foot in there again + all the business we sent your way will be told about your absolute disgrace of a meal. The only reason we left a tip was because we felt sorry for the young boy + girl who had to serve us.
