Great service staff were friendly and helpful.food was disappointing
Food was lovely, but the bar closed without any warning at 10.00 pm. We were asked to move from restaurant area at lunchtime because the table was reserved. So reserved a table for the evening but on arrival at restaurant told no space in restaurant. So dined in the breakfast area. Then told to move to bar as breakfast area needed to be prepared for breakfast. Some staff were brilliant and some not so brilliant. So much potential but very poor Manager. Sadly won't be returning.
We visited the Sidcot arms for lunch today. We were a group of 8 adults, we found the menu was varied with something to suit everybody. The food was served hot, was plentiful and a decent standard. The bill was a nice surprise! Overall, we had a good meal, good service, and it was good value. We will definitely return.
Not been here before. Starter was warm (should have been hot), mail meal was also warm verging on cold, desert was actually good. Staff really not that friendly and actually stroppy when things don't go right. Don't usually do bad reviews but felt I had to this time.
We love this place.good value for money.staff are all very friendly.beautiful views across to the valley.must have been a very grand house at one time, always plenty of tables available.its our go to happy place 😀
