Met a friend here who was staying. Really friendly receptionist. Decided to have a drink in the bar before going out. Dead.....a few people in there, but it was good to sit and chat in peace. Very old fashioned, but clean. Toilets spotless!
Just had a lovely weekend at the Sandringham hotel. We were able to check in early at no extra cost. We had a triple room over looking the beach which was superb. The hotel was lovely and warm and very welcoming. Entertainment first class and good fun playing the bingo which we won on the two nights. Location fab and the food was very good no queues and you could have what you wanted. Staff very helpful and polite will definitely stay here again .
Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms dated and smelt damp. There was no taps on bath and the hand basin was not even in the bathroom. The bed was awful and the springs on the mattress could be see and felt, sleep was non existent.
Great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and good for a short stay. Breakfast was excellent: all freshly cooked, and good value. Convenient location.
Dissatisfied with the condition of the rooms. We asked to be moved from our first room because the room stank like public toilets, the receptionist was very understanding and promptly moved us. The room we got moved to appeared brighter but as soon as you opened the door to the bathroom the smell of urine hit you! You could clearly see the cleaner didn't clean, there was stained dark urine around the toilet and soiled stains around the sink! We didn't use the tea facilities as these were dirty. Walls were marked and scuffed, headboards are in poor condition with formica hanging off. We won't be coming back, sorry but unless you have no sense of smell and you're partially blind, I wouldn't recommend staying here!
