We had a realy good experience. Very good service and all our meals were really nice. Busy pub, but prompt delivery of food and all served with a smile.
Fab carvery. Met here for a family meal for 12 people, friendly service & proper pub grub, loved it. I had the veggie option which was really tasty, the carvery went down really well with everyone else too. Nice & friendly with a relaxed atmosphere.
Do not judge this place on the outside looks. Inside it is beautiful, cozy & friendly, a real country style pub not ruined by greed. The staff were lovely, the food was great. We didn't stay over so I can't say what the rooms were like but going by what we saw I'd definitely come back for a sleepover 😊
Had a lovely family meal here on a Saturday evening. Delicious food, all very well cooked and lovely friendly service. Highly recommended, but probably best to book at peak times as the place was packed.
Came here sunday to see local band phoenix west playing. Gorgeous old pub that is obviously very popular. If we had thought of it we would have booked a Sunday roast....looked delicious. We managed to sample plenty of beer and cider though served by friendly staff. Nice beer garden too!
