We’re proud that The Consti is regarded as one of the finest members clubs in the area, offering a wide range of entertainment and facilities to members and their guests.
We have two well-stocked bars with an excellent range of constantly changing cask ales, along with lagers, ciders, wines and spirits. For those wishing to participate in non-alcoholic beverages, we again have a well-stocked selection, along with our specialty coffee, and tea range available during all opening hours.
As for catering, we offer a full a la carte menu which is available Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes from 12 to 2:30pm,. Roasts on Sundays, 12 to 2:30pm and the first Friday of the month, we host an Themed Dinner Evening. The Club also offers a full catering service to suit any function or occasion; from business meetings to weddings, birthday parties and conferences.
The Club also boasts such facilities as full Sky sports coverage on our widescreen HD televisions, a snooker room with 3 full size tables, club (sunshine) garden, large function room, skittle alley and a smaller meeting room.

I booked Christmas lunch for 31 . The choice of meals are very good, even duck leg with cherries. Everyone enjoyed the meals they chose. Even comes with complimentary mince pie & coffee. Well done to Tim & all his team.
Homely, friendly and very good value for food and drink.
We were there for a birthday party. Meal was nice and hot albeit we waited quite a while for it. The venue itself can accommodate quite a few more than the 60+we had. Bar device was good. They had lots of staff on to assist. Staff were friendly & helpful.
We visited for a friends 80th afternoon tea. Good venue, excellent service ,gorgeous traditional afternoon tea with sandwiches and scones clotted cream and jam ..and a real thumbs up for the gluten free - rolls and home made scones from our daughter. They came round frequently and brought fresh pots of tea and coffee. The bar downstairs was reasonable ,and there is a stairlift to upstairs venue hall if needed.
Very reasonably priced food and drink. Slightly colder in the winter months, but the staff are great and very friendly. Would recommend to others for a simple lunch.
