Had a 3 course dinner here for my birthday and it was fantastic! Delicious food, incredible staff and very tasty limoncello! We will be back soon!

The pub and food were great. Loved the look and feel of the bedrooms but we had an awful night sleep due to the security light being very bright and shining toward the bed. The bed was also really hard and was difficult to get comfortable - options for softer pillows would also have been welcomed. This is the second Butcombe pub we’ve stayed in and found the light issue the same in the previous one. Overall, a nice place/location to stay but not having a good night sleep means we probably wouldn’t return.

Our waiter Marshall was outstanding. The restaurant had been super busy that night and so they’d sold out of a few things, however Marshall was able to recommend various dishes and also a suitable wine alternative to the one requested. We were told that there would be a bit of a wait on our food, however we were served relatively quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was our first night out since our 10 month old daughter was born and we were even assured that, if the babysitter rang for us to leave, our food could be boxed up quickly for us to take home. Such a lovely evening (with no phone call!). Thank you!

The Langford Inn folks pay special attention to food details which is delightful. I especially enjoyed the Cornish scallops starter (see photo) a couple of times - wonderful! The Confit leek was also great. Breakfast was awesome too with lots of choices - good job on the poached eggs! One dish that could use improvement - the Reuben sandwich contained no noticeable sauerkraut and was to my taste "unbalanced". But overall a wonderful dining experience.

Loved my stay here! Was greeted and shown to my room and there was a personalised welcome letter on the desk and a comp mini bottle of prosecco in the fridge. It's the little details like this that make such a difference. This is a beautifully decorated place with super efficient staff and delicious food. I will definitely be recommending to clients and friends! Thank you
