Another wonderful meal at The White Horse yesterday evening.The food is always amazing & the menu seems frequently updated. The staff are unfailingly friendly, cheerful & helpful and the woodburner & lovely atmosphere made the visit even more enjoyable.😊 Highly reccomend this place, & thank you to all at The White Horse for a lovely evening! 💜
Exactly what you want from a Sunday roast. Roaring fire, cosy vibes, great service, yummy food and good portions. The order: Rare topside beef - £18.95 Guinness sticky toffee - £8 📅 Visited in December 2023
The food was amazing quality and the staff were extremely helpful to accomodate us as we had a punctured tyre and were broken down right outside the entrance.
I ordered two burgers, and i waited 45 minutes for them, hoping they would be good. They were both burned and overcooked, resulting in a dry burger. It's definitely not worth the food here, at least the burgers. I'm totally disappointed.
Sunday lunch at the White Horse was great. My nephew and I turned up on spec as it had been recommended to us. The staff were really helpful and we managed to get a table in the large garden at the rear of the pub. The roast tasted great and beef and lamb meals were really tender. Good Adnams ble on draught. Whilst sat at our table were were joined by a very friendly robin. We will definitely go back to the White Horse and book next time.
