One of my favourite spots in Bristol. It has a lovely riverside walk with a large variety of wildlife. It’s particularly great for bird life. I certainly recommend a visit to Snuff Mills.
Lovely place to walk for a couple of hours. There are multiple paths marked out along the river at Snuff Mills. Some info about the mill is outlined at the entrance if you are interested. The walk is low intensity, but can get quite muddy if it has rained recently. Parking is free and there is a restroom and small coffee stand in the carpark.
Lovely forest walk. Mostly tarmac paths for those with pushchairs or wheelchairs. Dog friendly too with lots of dog walkers out with their puppies! A few benches along the river too to sit down if you wish. More muddy/off trail walks too for those wanting to venture a little further. Car park is small but has a lovely little cafe in it. All in all, a hidden gem on the outskirts of Bristol!
So beautiful it's just a wonderful experience here. We walked our dog and it was such a beautiful day. Everyone stopped to talk to us and everyone was really friendly. There was a car park of decent size upon entry, however there was a charge. It is £1 for an hour £2 for two hours and £3 for three hours or more. There are also payment platforms on site to be able to pay. The walk is quite long therefore be prepared with water as it can be quite tiring. At the top of the hill there is a lovely park for children and a little cafe. The cafe does coffees, teas, ice creams and they even have little pup cups which are made up of dog friendly ice cream. It really is a great place but there are some patches of mud on parts of the path, this made some of the walk difficult without getting covered in mud. I think if it has been raining prior or during the walk, wellies are a must.
All time favourite.. If you want to spent your good time with nature come here and enjoy with your family and friends. Lovely weather and beautiful views you can find here . 100 % sure you like this place. If you like hills you can walk , if you like fishing 🎣 you can do it here , if you want to swim you can do it here . So overall everything is okey .
