We decided to go to the kings head as its been a few years since our last visit. We arrived late Saturday afternoon, the pub did not look too busy. When we went to order some food, we were told a large group were taking priority before any other orders. So we waited until we were informed we could order some food, probably around an hour. When we did order, we had to wait a further hour before we could eat. During our time there the pub started to fill up with local football teams that had finished playing nearby. We were feeling that as we weren't locals, we were forgotten or perhaps there was a staffing problem. Maybe this establishment is centred around local football people rather than people that are looking for a good food experience as we had eaten there some time ago. This day out was to celebrate my birthday and have lovely food. The food was very good but the atmosphere marred our enjoyment. Very disappointing.

been here a few times. on this occasion this was probably the best the food was although ive never had and actual issue, I'm really fussy the goat was really good coleslaw is really good. Nice portion size. I could not fault it I'd eat here again.
Well I’ve just eaten probably one of the most tastiest meals in my entire life! I wish my Daddy was alive to have tasted it!! Mouse you are a kitchen genius; I’ve finished my meal and still salivating with the flavours 👌🏽 Oo la la who knew you could do that with ackee and the sea bass wow 👌🏽 Loved It Loved It Loved It and hope I get to experience that again 🙏🏽😘❤️🥂
