We had such a good night here. Warm welcome by the friendly staff. Good range of food and drinks available. Excellent atmosphere; lovely chatty hubbub but not so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. Long list of pizza's available and other bar food (Tuesday night). I would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Been a few times now for drink and the Sunday roast. Everytime they are welcoming, accomidaing, friendly and have outstanding refreshments. The meat in the roast dinner is the best thing I've ever eaten on both occasions I've been. I dint even like parsnips, but I love these parsnips! Everything is glorious and the staff and owners are just as lovely! Will definitely visit again many more times especially if the chef is the same! And recommend to anyone who asks, that this is the place to eat. Although don't tell too many people as I like being able to visit when I like! Ha ha.

I had Sunday lunch here today with a friend. They made us and my dog feel really welcome, and I couldn't have asked for a nicer atmosphere or more friendly and helpful staff. It has a lovely outdoor garden area too. Will definitely be back!

We have always wanted to try this pub, as we have lived in Bath for over a year now. We came in Saturday and asked about their Sunday roast, and how the cauliflower cheese was done. Daniel said “I’ll show you” he then went into the kitchen and made his home made Yorkshire pudding and a pot of cauliflower cheese, as a taster. This was amazing, so we came back for the roast on Sunday and wasn’t disappointed the size of the plate and food was fantastic. They also put the Women’s Rugby on for us, which was a bonus. Lovely place, with friendly staff and will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience.

We found The Old Crown whilst on a walk from Bath Waterside Marina and Caravan Park, it was about a 35 minute walk. The bar staff were friendly and the toilets were clean. Two pints cost £11.40 There was a sign stating WiFi available, however the WiFi was not working, we were told it was something to do with being linked to a credit card and not being secure. It was good to see that younger looking people were being asked for identification. (Those days have long gone for me) The menu appeared limited, Garlic Bread Starter and a variety of Pizzas. Whilst the staff were friendly the pub itself appeared full of locals and the atmosphere made us feel like slightly unwelcome outsiders. Dogs are welcome which is great, however the area we sat smelt strongly of dogs and the furnishings/cushions appeared grim.... To be honest this put us off eating here. Overall, an ok pub for a quick beverage for us.
