Very nice food, although not quite what I was expecting for a Michelin’s Bib Gourmand. Some pieces of pork were even overcooked and dry. But overall, good dinner.
Chequers never disappoints! Booked a table for a dinner date with my partner and immediately received a friendly welcome upon entering. The gentleman who served us was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the foods and wines they had to offer. Throughout the visit they checked on us, ensuring that we were looked after thoroughly. The food was fantastic and my partner who had never been before - absolutely loved her steak dish. The food and wine options were well priced for an establishment with such a high standard reputation. The atmosphere and aesthetic is cosy. Overall the experience was great and I'll happily visit again. Chequers is a 'must visit' by anyone visiting Bath! You'll not regret it.
Wow the best roast dinner I have had in a long long time. The staff were absolutely wonderful. I spoke with them via Instagram & the booking app. Very helpful & excellent service. The food was excellent, our party of 4 each had a different meal & we all agreed that they were delicious Highly recommended
Amazing roast chicken at a competitive price. My wife had the vegetarian meal. She is really fussy. Doesn't like cheese, doesn't like Quorn. She LOVED the butter nut squash dinner. We'll definitely be back soon
Absolute must-visit when in Bath. From atmosphere and attentiveness of the staff to the quality & flavor of the dishes. We came by on Sunday for their classic roast, and left absolutely amazed. Best one we have tried so far in the UK. Thank you to the whole team for keeping the standard high, it is very hard to come by delicious food in the UK these days. Londoners should come here to taste the real deal 🙏🏽
