We walked the Cotswold Way and stayed there for one night. Really enjoyed it. Dave and his team just took over and we had a very warm welcome, really good and rich local food and a very healthy breakfast in the morning. They even provided us with a very good packed lunch for the day for a really cheap prize. Would recommend anytime.

We were walking part of the Cotswold Way and stayed here for one night. The couple running the pub were new and getting established. Our welcome was very warm and welcoming. At the time we went they did not have a chef (they were expecting food to be up and running the following week) and so they ran us to another pub 3 miles away for our evening meal and returned to pick us up later as they did with another guest. Breakfast, whilst limited had plenty on offer, and set us up for the day ahead. Our room was comfortable, quiet and had plenty of hot water. Could not fault the hospitality and would stay there again.

A great little village pub/hotel 😊 great friendly staff and atmosphere, great food and good beer 😊 My room was nice, clean and comfortable and with a big breakfast in the morning what more could you ask for? I'll stay again at the Fox if I get the chance 😊

We found this place by taking a detour due to traffic heading from the Midlands to Bath, a warm welcome and lovely place and a historic village . We saved the name and will certainly be dropping in again.

Poor food, bad service, and £4 a pint of shandy. I mean, who doesn't take the label off the apple before cutting it and serving it in a salad...
