Tucked away off the main road, a good pre-match pub if you're looking for a beer and a natter. A good selection of ales alkngside the usual choices. There are 2 rooms, so usually plenty of seats.
Friendly and welcoming we hired a room for a private family get together with a buffet lunch provided which consisted of hot and cold food and an attended bar.
Popped in for a couple of pints on the Friday evening before the Ipswich Sunderland match. A good range of beers and a lively atmosphere. Only a 15 minute walk from the Stadium of Light.
Came here for the first time in February after the Sunderland match. The staff were super lovely and friendly and the garden is a nice place the jam when it's busy inside. The garden has heat lamps above the decking. Had a decent pint!
First time I've visited here for several years,still great beer good prices beer garden, friendly locals,love it there. no colours as an away fan but no problem in a really busy pub and not far from the stadium
