Had our Christmas party, and booked bed and breakfast. Food was lovely, accommodation was good, service was excellent. I will return have stayed in well known hotels in redruth and Falmouth, but this is now my fav ,parking space are few but had help from hotel ,the only down point I can say is if like me you don't walk well there is no lifts,so I had to change room to the bottom floor as was on second floor (booked by works organiser)they were so helpful and more than happy to change for me .loved my stay ,Christmas Dinner was just lovely, breakfast was great, recommended by me.

The venue was lovely, the views were stunning. The afternoon tea was well presented, and tasty. My only problem was I don't like peel which was in the Scones and Saffron Bun Staff were friendly and attentive.

Amazing place, really cozy and clean rooms. Staff is helpful and really accommodating (special thanks to Irma). The sauna and heated pools are perfect to warm up after a cold water dip in the ocean!

NO WAY 5*!!! A picturesque Victorian era building in need of significant upgrading. As a previous reviewer said, most of the rooms are in buildings away from the main hotel and are pretty shabby. Our two bedroom suite, costing over £1,000 per night was very basic with a shared bathroom and tiny bedrooms. Typical of Cornwall hotels, the staff were largely temporary and displayed no sense of pride in service or in the hotel. The dining room is a 1960‘s throwback and much too small to cater for all the guests. If you don‘t manage to get a reservation for Breakfast (!!!) then you have to resort to room service: the room service breakfast menu looks amazing but don’t be fooled, it‘s really basic just like the rest of the hotel.

Wonderful location and really nice spa. The hotel does need to do a lot more to make sure their listings are both honest and understandable. We booked a garden view room. We assumed this meant a room in the hotel with a garden view. It actually meant a room behind someones house (you had to go through their side gate) on a busy main road 15 minutes away from the hotel. If we had known this, we would have booked an Airbnb for much less money and a much better room/view. We were told we could order a taxi to get back to the hotel but this really is quite unacceptable and not made clear to us when we booked. We ended up paying extra to move to the main hotel, but the price is significantly more expensive than other luxury 5 star hotels we've stayed at elsewhere. The carpet had stains and the wall and furniture was full of scuff marks. The view was wonderful. Breakfast was included and was decent enough. The staff were friendly.
