The past 50 years have been a period of warm welcomes and consistent high quality service to our guests. Whilst strong on traditional values and service, the hotel has never stood still and there have been a constant stream of improvements to the hotel.
The Courthouse Bar at The Arundell Arms was formerly the old police station and Court and it still retains the original cells complete with bars over the windows.
Serving pub favourites as well as a regularly changing specials board and children's menu, the bar has a great character and welcoming atmosphere. We serve well kept local and regional real ales and also have a great value list of wines available by the glass and bottle.
Children and well behaved dogs are welcome. They, like all our guests, can be sure of a warm welcome at the Courthouse Bar.
Bar meals served Tuesday - Saturday 12pm – 2pm and 6pm – 9 pm
Sunday lunch 12pm – 2 pm.

This is a 19th-century town drinkers' pub with a friendly atmosphere, popular with locals. It is close to the former cattle market, which closed in 1991. The pub supports euchre, darts and pool teams.
