Rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything you need. Location is great for something central, with the downside of the noise and vibrations being right next to the train station and a load of pubs.
Definitely in need of a refurb, which is supposedly due to start soon. Used to book here regularly and recommend it, now, not so much. Downstairs bar area is lovely. Pillows were comfy in the room. Room was a reasonable size.
Well located by Central station, staff were friendly enough. The blinds in the room were bent out of shape and wouldn't block out all the light. The areas around the sliding doors in the shower were extremely dirty, even if the main part of the shower was clean itself. Room cleanliness in general wasn't great, just felt like minimum effort was made to clean it
We've stayed here once previously and actually have another stay planned for next weekend. Great value rooms, with a great, central location and ease of access to the town centre. The rooms themselves were clean and well maintained, with the only quizzical thing being the bathroom sink tap, which shot water out over the sink and all over you if you run it too fast just because lf the type of tap it was lol. The staff were all friendly and helpful and in good spirits, with a good selection of drinks at the bar in the foyer. 24hr reception which means you can come and go as needed. Looking forward to our next stay.
Yes it's a bit shabby, but the staff was really friendly and the location great. The elevator had a broken button so we had to go up an extra floor and take the stairs down 😂 The room was big, hard to say if it was the tired carpet and chipped paint or just needed a thorough clean but it felt a bit scruffy. But for the money we paid and the location we couldn't fault it. Breakfast was good. Glasgow, for us was, charming and a bit scruffy and so was this hotel so a perfect match.
