Lovely place for a nice relaxing pint. The staff were amazing. The people were amazing. It was the first time I was there. I really felt welcome. 😎👌👍
First time in the Apple Tree. The food was OK, a bit old fashioned in presentation. I've had worse. But it took ages to get our meals and then they were just OK.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, easy to have a conversation with my friend. We both had Parmo with was excellent. Big portions (though the chips were a little lacking in terms of amount and heat but not a meal ruiner). Staff were friendly and served quickly. We were surprised at how low the bill was at the end of the night. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area.
Nice place. The rest of my group had chicken parmesan and they were all delicious. I had the roast beef lunch and really missed roast potatoes and peas. Gravy was thin and salty. Plenty of meat and nice 'real' mash. I wouldn't have another dinner but all of the other food looked great.
Came in for a quiet lunch with my Grandma. She ordered the pensioners specials - sausage and mash with peas and onion gravy. She said it was delicious tho the mash wasn't quite as mashed as she liked but no complaints otherwise 😂. I had the parmo special with mushrooms, real chicken breast, very tasty and proper chips (not frozen), decent size portions. Lovely pub grub! Nice and helpful staff.
