Had a decent roast dinner and fish and chips. The manager (bald man with beard) and also one of the servers (brown hair with some hair on his chin) were both on point, very quick service and paid attention to our needs. I come here for a Sunday lunch every other week while my dad gets fish and chips. I can’t recommend it enough. Prices are also very reasonable although beer prices are a bit premium but I guess it’s 2024, nothing is cheap even in stores. I will happily come here again.
Popped in for lunch as we started to feel a bit hungry & we were greeted by friendly bar staff as well as a roaring fire which was handy on a cold day like today - ended up having the gammon, cheese & bacon burger, salmon and three mini deserts with hot drinks which were all well cooked & set us up for the rest of the day; would recommend & visit again even if it's just for a quick pint
We went to a restaurant for dinner. Home atmosphere and good food. The risotto, sausages, lasagna and steak were tasty, but the steak was a bit overdone, it was not medium. My wife's parents came to us from another country and they liked it, which is important. Prices and quality are good, so I recommend them.
Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. Excellent service from all. Made to feel very welcome. Very attentive and helpful manager. Lovely bedroom (but with no shower in the room there was no shower attachment on the bath??). Tasty dinner and tasty breakfast. Nice place to stay. Would recommend. But......Christmas decorations and music in mid-November???? PLEASE NO!!!!!
We didn’t stay, just had an excellent meal there. Six of us booked a table. The food was excellent and the service second to none. Thank you to Craig, Tracey and all the other staff that made our special reunion meal an absolute delight
