Positioned in a great location, we’re the first building to greet you as you pass over the famous Thomas Telford suspension bridge and enter the Isle of Anglesey.
We offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere with delicious home cooked food and quality real ales. We also have 16 bedrooms, all with the comforts you’ll need for a relaxing stay.
As well as our great location, we also have a fantastic garden area which overlooks the beautiful Menai Strait. Feel free to ask to be seated in our outside dining area, where you can enjoy our fresh seasonal food alongside a glass of wine. There’s also a children’s play area so you can keep the little ones entertained whilst you put your feet up and relax in comfort.
This the second time we have been in 5 months.we let the wait for food 1st time go,even though we had to ask for our sweets as well. As the food is absolutely lovely, we thought we would give it a go ,but unfortunately had to ask where food was ,the man in the tie brought the food saying they had to make sure chicken was cooked and then my friend cleared her own plate on the way to ask for her sweets again.food spot on but service let's you down .wasn't going to give a review but you asked .
We had a fantastic family meal yesterday, the food was amazing and top quality ( brilliant value for 3 courses) The staff are absolutely wonderful, so welcoming , every thing we asked was no trouble! , we felt so spoiled by the manager and other staff. 💯 recommend , we'll definitely be back! A very professional establishment, with all the staff on hand to help out where needed. Well kept and beautifully decorated rooms. Small touches such as biscuits, glass bottled water and a teapot make all the difference when doing a long stay in a hotel. The breakfast is fresh and has everything. The place also has one of the best coffee’s I have ever had in my entire life, literally liquid crack. It is an outstanding coffee. Many thanks to the guys from Anglesey arms.
10 of us went for food here. There's lots of choice on the menu. The prices are very reasonable. All of us had different food from the menu and everyone enjoyed, I didn't hear a single complaint from any of our party. Service was very good and we didn't have to wait to long for food. Portion sizes were very good and really tasty food. I would definitely recommend visiting here if your in the area.
Fantastic hotel, we had a lovely time in the public bar area, a couple of weeks before Christmas and it was incredibly busy. Good atmosphere, good drinks and the staff were excellent. They staff were dealing with guests, Christmas parties, and the general public in a highly efficient manor. I would highly recommend.
