The Angel is a dining pub in the Northern Quarter of Manchester city centre. Under new management since September 2009 The Angel is now well established as a relaxed and informal place to enjoy great beers from small independent breweries aswell as handpicked wines & freshly cooked locally sourced food.
The downstairs bar is great for a drink at lunchtime or after work or an evening with friends with the emphasis on conversation and no television. Customers can choose to eat either in the bar or in the cosy upstairs restaurant which has a log fire and original paintings by local artist Kane Cunningham - www.kanecunningham.co.uk. The Angel is happy to consider showcasing the work of other local artists on request.
