Our birthday celebration at the Angel pub was amazing! The evening was great! The food was rich and tasty! The staff were fantastic, a big shout out to Cameron and Ella who made the evening unforgettable, always smiling, friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a pub to make your birthday (or any day for that matter) a truly unforgettable experience, look no further!
Lovely pub - very warm & welcoming atmosphere. Bar staff very friendly; great service from Cameron and Ella . We weren't planning to eat, but menu sorely tempted so we'll make point of coming back another time. (Plenty of veggie options, very fair prices;) Look forward to visiting again - thanks so much team at Angel : )
Came here on a SUPER busy night full of Christmas parties, but service was still seamless with plenty of good staff working. We missed the food window, so I can't comment on it, but the menu looks great and there is a good selection of drinks. What set the service apart was the unfortunate issue of my bag going missing. Staff member immediately came over to help with all the information I would need, checked the CCTV, and was great throughout what was a bloody stressful experience. Turned out that a drunken party goer had picked it up by mistake, and I was contacted by Cameron later the same night to be told it was safe. To keep a high level of service even when things go wrong isn't easy but they were great.
Very nice experience on a Sunday. Little bit quiet at the time we arrived but we had a lovely Sunday Roast. Unfortunately the vegetables were a bit less hot than we like it but with preheated plates it would be easily fixable. Very friendly service as well. Highly recommend!
