The Angel Inn is a historic Coaching Inn, and is one of the oldest in the country with parts of the building dating back to the 12th century. The Angel Inn has extensive gardens with ample parking in the centre of the pretty historic village of Blyth.
We serve a great range of cask ales, lagers, premium wines and spirits including a great range of gins.
There are 5 en suite bedrooms and a large en suite family room, all of which include a fabulous full breakfast. We can also cater for large parties and other group bookings.
We are proud of our reputation for serving top quality freshly prepared food using only the finest ingredients and local seasonal produce, presented by our team of highly trained chefs.
When you combine the tradition of the buildings and location, with the unique blend of atmosphere, style and quality of service provided, the Angel Inn becomes a relaxed oasis in a sometimes too busy world.

Stopped in on our way from Dover to Edinburgh. Wide choice of food and very attentive staff. Drinks and food delivered without delay. My main meal was a little cold but this was dealt with quickly and with an apology. The poached Cod and Prawn in a Mornay Sauce was exceptional. We travel the A1 often and we will be back. Thank you.
This is a great traditional country pub which has recently been renovated so the bedrooms are very clean and modern. The food was excellent with a really good variety and everything coming out the kitchen looked amazing. Fantastic selection of cask and keg ales, too many to choose from.! If I'm in the area I'll definitely stop here again.

The room had been freshly decorated and was clean and welcoming. I had a good night's sleep with little to no noise. The breakfast was amazing and the kitchen staff were amazing. Front of house were so welcoming and polite. Thank you, we will be staying again
Very accommodating! We had to cancel the previous evening at short notice, but they managed to fit us in for the following evening. The welcome was warm. The food was outstanding and piping hot. Drinks were great. Very good menu. We had 3 courses and all were excellent. We'll go again soon.
