I didn't eat but It's always a good place. One of the oldest coaching Inns in Andover though there's no inn service these days. Rumour has it Dickens stayed here and was inspired to write Oliver when he saw the workhouse. There is a nice open fire and a cheery welcome from the landlady
Great beer and friendly staff, warm and cosy old style pub
What an amazing place. The staff were great, the landlord and lady made us feel welcome and amazing company. It's a great place to visit when you are in Town.
Such a beautiful historic place and nice to sit in the garden. Great atmosphere. Very polite service. Sometimes live music
Absolutely fabulous pub steeped in history, Yvonne the landlady is brilliant very welcoming literally can’t do enough for u! Courtyard is a proper sun trap the perfect place to sit out & chill for the day. Will be back definitely
