our stay was wonderful all staff friendly,and helpful .the pub was lively with a fab atmosphere.the restraurant with its lovely food and same atmosphere .this is a must stay at hotel, we will be back
Typical Adnams establishment, great atmosphere, good food, great beer, cheerful and efficient service. Despite being very busy our meal was promptly delivered. Lots of local customers which is a good sign. Look forward to another visit next time we are in Halesworth.
My short stay at the Angel, a Hotel I had known for many years, was, first class. The facilities were excellent, comfy and very clean bed, hot showers, even a safety mat, to prevent slipping. Tea making facilities had different choices, the food and breakfast, outstanding, housekeeping, first rate. This is a first class destination, I can't praise enough. And, at a very reasonable price.
me and my 2 friends came here and from the 1st minute we walked trough the door we was greeted with a big smile and a massive warm welcome from cleo the lovely women owner. all the staff was very helpful and friendly and welcoming and cleo's husband simon was also very very friendly and welcoming. we was in the area for 4 nights and went here for all 4 as the service is 1st class and the food is amazing. so very well presented and full of flavour ,the drinks was also very very good with a great range of beers ciders wines sprits ect. i cant speak highly enough of the wonderful pub and restaurant. amazing value for your money but so much more, they have time to make you feel appreciated for your custom and this is very rare nowadays. i would like to thank cleo and simon and all the staff for making us feel more than welcome and finding your wonderful pub and restaurant made our holiday. we will 100% be coming back again and again.
Went for a meal with my son and his partner, , on a Thursday evening. Young lady working behind the bar was friendly and helpful. We decide to sit outside as it was a very warm evening. Food was lovely, we all enjoyed it. Food presentation was nice. The lads both had burgers, and it was so nice to have them served on plates and not a piece of wood etc as some places do. I chose chicken with a cream and wild mushroom sauce, really tasty. We will certainly be back.
