Went in. The food is absolutely terrible. The food came out cold, and some of the food didn’t seem cooked. The customer service is vile. The bar staff were rude. Food came out and we had to wait 15 minutes for the last meal to come out. I would not recommend at all. The only nice thing was the Yorkshire pudding. Pudding all came out at different times. The jam roly poly was hard and it tasted like cardboard. The staff were slagging our table off. The whole place is an abomination.

Stayed for the weekend with my partner & daughter. Upon arrival at the main desk the lady was very welcoming and helpful. My daughter loved the kids room and the Dj was full of energy and did a great job at keeping the kids entertained even encouraging the adults to get involved. she hasn’t stopped talking about how fun it was since we’ve been home. Food was fine however I did ask for a child’s roast and was told NO they don’t offer this so had to order my 4 year old a adult sized roast which was unfortunate as the room was dedicated to children I thought the menu may be more accommodating .The only thing that could most definitely improve is the service at the bar ( blonde hair young man ) was very rude and abrupt had an attitude of not wanting to be there I thought maybe first night may of been super busy with it being a Friday he may just be tired but on the following night he had the same attitude and the 3rd night I avoided going up to the bar after he got snappy about asking about the roast. The young gentleman serving the kids treats was lovely and was brilliant with the kids and very polite. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future and hopefully bar staff are more welcoming and don’t make you feel a burden for ordering

Went in her On a Saturday afternoon for a few beers and an evening meal with our Son D in law and two young grandkids (4&5 ) and a well behaved collie we sat in the main bar it was lovely and quiet nice ambient music so you could chat then to be ushered out after half an hour stating that we have kids we have to sit in the kids room Jesus Christ it was like a cheap Eastern European nightclub smelt like a sweaty soft play area with Barbie girl belting out louder than an AC/DC concert we then decided to go outside and order food (Yes we still decided to stay) three main meals and two children’s ordered with a round of drinks coming in at over £70 my son decided he didn’t like the menu so would have some fish and chips from over the road ( best decision he’s ever made) food came the portion size was paltry the main meals not being much bigger than the children’s just more chips very pale and beige mentioned this to the server to be met with a vacant look he then turned and left!! we ate what we paid for and left ourselves my son enjoyed his meal and reminded us how he had made the best choice hard to argue really safe to say we won’t visit again!!
