Our Estate pub was built in 1939 by Ind Coope as the asset for the estate by local trades people who worked on The Ampleforth Abbey in Yorkshire. We have recently redecorated the inside with fine quality seating and now have a few different areas to make you feel welcome. A real local community pub. The local of C. S. Lewis who lived nearby at Lewis Close and who frequented the pub on many occasions.
Sorry, we don't have any current events or offers for this pub.
