Located centrally at 25a Hope Street, beside the city’s main transport link, Glasgow Central Station, The Alpen Lodge is the perfect bar to escape to when visiting this magnificent city.
Providing a warm interior and environment, we host a variety of events from our weekly quiz nights to our live entertainment at the weekends.
We seem to be close to a lot of people’s hearts, with wonderful and loyal staff and customers. We are very proud of our team, some which have been with us for over 30 years. We are here to make your visit better than the last.

Great relaxed pub with a friendly atmosphere.
Unfortunately it's a bit tight a shop when busy. But the pint is good and is worth the vist even for the passers-by.
Great wee pub. Jukebox is cheap and has a great selection. Atmosphere is great and you'll meet some interesting characters for sure. There is also a downstairs which is bigger and normally has live music. Not as good as upstairs though.

Great little Pub and downstairs Lounge,Cosy friendly atmosphere,with characters dancing and singing.Very friendly bar staff with a Witty MC Karaoke Singer,(sharp as a tack punch lines). I would certainly recommend.
