Came for a meal this afternoon with my wife and her elderly parents, who are in their late 80s. They had fish and chips and I had the gammon egg and chips. The meals were served promptly having been freshly cooked, they very well presented, the fish and chips according to my in Laws was lovely. Unfortunately when I cut into the gammon, I noticed that it was undercooked! I bought this to the attention of a member of staff. They apologised and arranged for a replacement meal to be prepared. It was bought to me once it had been cooked, it was delicious, the whole meal was cooked to perfection. The food was excellent quality, quality and value for money. All staff were lovely. Thanks to all concerned, we'll be back soon 👌
Staff very pleasant. Service quick and polite. All round beautiful surroundings and very friendly place.great in the summer open gardens to restaurant play area. Great family get together here a d many more to come. Thanks to everyone at the pub in the park. 👍
Food is great value for money, a family favourite for us the only place we go where it’s calm and we can enjoy our food in peace even with the kids. Staff a very welcoming and always happy to help.
That was hands down the worst Sunday dinner I've had in my life. Roast potatoes where rubbery on the outside, rock hard veg, you'd have to get your jaw insured before you chomp down on the beef. One if the worst meals I've ever had and I had a cable tie in my veg! Glad I never damaged my tooth biting into it! I ate it as was hungry and had already paid but oh how disappointing was that! My child makes better food in school and brings it home. I'd be embarrassed serving food like this it's nasty! Definitely wont be a returning customer and won't have a positive thing to say about this place. Shocking food
What a find! Located in quiet and beautiful park. Amazing building and rooms (huge) inside here🤩Feels like you are in a museum or an expensive restaurant but without high price to pay. Great for family with kids as well (see my comment on that). Especially parents with little kids would know how difficult to relax in a nice place for a meal… Food quality is decent but it’s generous and keeping the price so low (felt like they were subsidised!). I know already many people mentioned but the great selection of cakes and desserts…They are massive and look fantastic!
