Brilliant local Pub, great atmoshere with a wide choice of food and drink
It's your typical pub grub but always done well and quickly. The staff are really friendly, having got to know them having recently moved in to area. It gets busy on game days with city and Utd fans filling the place, which I love as a football fan (Liverpool) They are putting together quite a few things for Halloween kids welcome.
Friendly, welcoming staff and generally warm atmosphere in the place. Fun karaoke and tasty, reasonably-priced food. Great local!
Excellent pub, I’ve been drinking regularly in The Alex for over 3 years now, excellent staff and a great pint of Guinness as well as the best pub game facilities in the area (Darts, Pool, Cards etc). A great boozer
Great pub with friendly staff. Fantastic food - burgers, hotdogs and sides. Dine in or take out. Very big beer garden, lots of different rooms inside, two pool tables, darts, tvs showing football. Plenty of character, a cosy pub with lots of rooms and original features like mosaic floors. Can't fault it, brilliant and welcoming place.
