The thinking man’s selection of booze on offer is nothing short of Holy Grail. Albert’s Schloss is Manchester’s first Tankovna, serving the freshest Pilsner this side of the Danube. Add to this, 10 heritage brews on the taps, Alpine cocktails, homemade Schnapps, an uber wine list and… well you get the picture. A text book Alpine Bier Palace that would make Albert proud.
A really good place to eat German food in Manchester. The venue is beautiful with a fireplace in the middle near the entrance, which is nice to have coming in from a cold weather. All their schnitzels are chicken and would be good if they have veal schnitzels in the future, I recommend their Cordon Bleu Schnitzels. They also have wide variety of bratwurst dishes and also worth trying their Beef Wellington as shown in one of the pictures posted.
I heard Albert’s Schloss was a place we HAD to visit in Manchester and that advice was so right. From the moment you enter, you are hit with that party vibe. So many people enjoying the afternoon. It feels like you are in a apres ski chalet. They have a DJ and live music that is amazing. The drinks menu is huge, along with so many beers on tap. When we came in at 3PM, they said they were fully booked for the night (until 2AM). We were lucky enough to find seats at the bar, but no food is served there. That worked out because the drinks were awesome. We had the Snow Bunny (delish) and an Old Fashioned. Both were very well made. Every corner of the bar has something different. And they have disco lighting timed to the music in the bathroom. Hilarious! I’m sure the fact that it’s the Christmas season is adding to the crowds here, but it’s definitely worth a visit. Just so much fun!
The lively ambiance at Albert's Schloss is complemented by its well-curated selection of beers, including unique brews. The live entertainment adds an energetic vibe. While the menu leans towards meat-heavy options, vegetarians can find flavorful dishes too. Keep in mind that prices are reflective of the location. Overall Albert's Schloss offers a distinctive and enjoyable blend of food, drinks, and entertainment in the heart of Manchester.
Absolutely brilliant place to visit. Fantastic vibes. Great place to go if you just want a quick bite to eat or if you want to have a moider and enjoy the atmosphere, staff are brilliant and welcoming. The prices are very fair, worth every penny spent. Will definitely be visiting again
We arrived at the restaurant for the reserved four-person table on Saturday evening. The place was bustling with people, mostly enjoying drinks and live music performances. The atmosphere was lively, though conversations between companions required shouting due to the noise. We ordered three main courses, including a Bavarian feast , three appetizers, and side dishes of vegetables and cheesy baked potatoes to complement the mains. The dishes were delicious, offering great value for money, and even with a large crowd, the service was attentive. The apple strudel dessert comes highly recommended. Overall, it's a restaurant worth trying.
