The Epitome of a classic boozer! By the bus station and harbour in Douglas, good choice of local cask beer (Odin mild is great) plus the feel of a "real" pub.
If you like real pubs, this will be right up your street.... Excellent quality real ales (3 on tap) at very reasonable prices 👏🍻
Great little place, always a welcome. A traditional style pub serving excellent ale at a reasonable price. Plenty of different sports on the tele to watch or have a chat with a local, their a friendly bunch. Just round the corner from the ferry terminal and a stone’s throw from the bus stops. If I lived in Douglas this place would be my local that’s for sure
Very drunk but friendly crowd of mostly locals. This is not the place for you to be if you want to be left alone or mix with business visitors to Isle of Man. This is a place for you to be if you want to mix with the everyday locals of Douglas and hear stories and learn facts that only locals would know. All over a few pints of Okells ale. I found the ambience to be a bit boisterous but in a fun way. Have a pint or two, chat with the Manx locals about local stuff and learn more about Manx history and culture.

This is a good old fashioned "boozer". The Brand range is not extensive but sells the local Okells cask ale. Pool room and dart board along with racing on tv. The pub is renowned locally for its "Saddle-oake!"
