Booked my companies annual work Christmas Meal, 11 people in total on the 20th December 2023. Food and service both on point, one mistake on the food order which was quickly and professionally corrected. Food very delicious to the educated palate and portion size good! We will definitely be returning for the work Xmas meal in 2024! I’ll be back!
First and last time we got here for food. We came here for a new year treat and got that in the wrong way. My wife ordered poached eggs and they came out hard and old. The bacon was old and the hash browns hard. On complaining about the eggs they were replaced with no better. Breakfast was really disappointing. I went to the toilet while i was there and all I can say is they hadn't been cleaned for days. Dusty smelt of sick and the sink was brown on the top were dirty water had been sat for god knows how long. On telling the man on the bar he openly said it was probably from last night. Well If I was the manager I would be extremely annoyed to know that he toilets hadn't been cleaned before they opened for custom. I can safely say I will not return to this place.
Had a really nice 2 night stay here. The rooms are very clean, the beds are nice and comfortable too. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order. Parking is easy as there is a cheap public car park very close by (2 minute walk) We have already booked another 2 night stay for April. I would recommend this pub/hotel.
What a nice place to stay. Right in the centre of market rasen. The staff are ultra friendly and can't do enough for you, we've just stayed for Xmas and probably had the best meal out in years. When we come back here for the races this is definitely the place to stay..
Nice friendly place, we called in for a meal without booking during the Bank Holiday and they made a table available. The service was fast & friendly, very welcoming. The food was good, there's a wide range available, very tasty and served hot. I would be very happy having this as my local but I was only down for the weekends racing. I hope they continue on with success as they have got things right and do it well.
