Accidentally stumbled upon this place, formerly a well-known chain, but the warm greeting and exceptional hospitality turned it into a pleasant surprise. Tried the burger and pulled pork burger with twice-cooked chips – both served in a delightful pretzel bun. Reasonably priced, the overall experience was enjoyable, despite the quiet atmosphere, which, surprisingly, added to the charm rather than detracting from it.
First time here, really liked the pub, big and spacious. Big tvs showing football and the food looked good, didn't try it as had already eaten. Missing a decent bitter but then no different to lots of pubs these days. 20 minute walk to St Mary's stadium so close enough for a pre match pint. Will definitely visit again.
Fantastic pub in Ocean Village! The recent addition of a pool table adds a fun twist to the atmosphere. I may have splurged my entire £3 on pineapple juice, but hey, it's a small price to pay for tropical bliss. If you're on the prowl for a night out with the ladies, you might want to set sail to a different port. X marks the spot, but not for that particular treasure hunt!
Ana is an amazing Bartender and will definitely take care of you. Great food, great environment, even as a tourist. Perfect place for a bigger/newer pub experience. Had the Fish Stick Sandwich and it was fantastic! Very highly recommend!
Came in on my break, for a quick drink and a bite of nibbles. I was greeted at the bar with friendly faces and a swift hello, also a massive thank you to Tara for standing out. The nibbles were amazing, the chicken tenders were to die for as they make. Their own breadcrumbs with fresh chicken (yes I asked). Would highly recommend for a nice ambience, fresh food and great staff. Will definitely return
