Food was OK, generic pub food, some aoli for Calamari would have been good! The children's pizza was dry as bone. Not somewhere I'd go for a special meal but easy enough for a quick catch up.
Ordered via just eat, took a little while to arrive but food was amazing, only complaint would be that the chips were a little cold but thatd be the fault of just eat. One of the nicest burgers ive ever had though, will definitely be ordering from here again!
My family and me go to the Acton often as it is our local pub. The atmosphere there with the regulars and staff is amazing. This was my third year I was Santa there for Christmas and all I can say is that it’s amazing the work Sarah McDowall puts into making this happen too. Totally selfless in what she does to ensure that breakfast with Santa happens at the Acton pub, she really does deserve praise for this alone. I’d also like to say that it’s great to have Steve the new manger there, he’s been a breath of fresh air as a manger. Can’t say enough about all the staff too very welcoming, a great place to have a meal and a drink with the family there. A nice heart warming place to go.
I had my baby shower last week here it was amazing , staff were great always around to help .Also, the food was great 👍 too. Thank you for making my day so fantastic. Thank acton pub xxx
Service is absolute shocking, you can just tell none of the staff want to be there, stand at an empty bar for 10 minutes waiting to be served whilst staff stand and play on there phones, must admit once we had the drinks they were good pints and had some good deals on, however the lack of attention from the staff was the major downfall, food was okay hunters chicken was good however chips were barely Luke warm, and again with regards to service nobody came to check to see how things were. So overall food was fine however the staff side of thing’s definitely needs major improvement.
