Absolutely loved every bit of it. The pizza is amazing and fresh. The mulled wine is on spot with a magic recipe. The atmosphere and the setting is welcoming and warm. Daniella has been really friendly and explained to us the upcoming events in the pub during the festive season. Very happy to have found Abbey Arms now that i am a recent local.
First time we had eaten there. Homemade Sunday Roast, superb. Great value for money. Manager was very customer focused and made us very welcome. She is an asset to the business and has her priorities right. Good leadership is sometimes lacking, not here.
The pizza itself was absolutely delicious. However, I was disappointed with the service and the employees' lack of attentiveness. It seemed like they were not interested in serving customers, and I even had an unfortunate experience where my order was forgotten. Needed to go to inside get the menu even we asked them nearly 10 minutes earlier, also, for forgotten pizza, we went to inside and ask them again. If the staff could improve their attentiveness and willingness to serve, this place would get higher star reviews. + Toilets weren’t clean, and no soap.
Got off Elizabeth line train at Abbey Wood Station, and wondered in to this pub. Started well , service good , drinks were fine , as ordered, the interior of was clean and welcoming, they also have a beer garden at the rear. We sat inside , relaxed and had a chat and a pint . Unfortunately I am guessing "the staff" put on their choice of music , which was loud Gangster Rap , we finished our drinks, and lefted. Sorry!
A hidden gem behind Abby wood station. The best pub I have visited in London. It scores high on the decor, old but stylish and clean, atmosphere with small string lights in the ceiling and a large patio where there is a stage for live entertainment, prices are reasonable and the bartender she was super sweet and friendly. Definitely coming again.
