Food was tasty but hugely overpriced, £7 for two small slices of bread, 2 smoked salmon slices and a bit of cream cheese, along with a very disappointing side salad. My partner had a chicken and bacon sandwich which was, again, super overpriced for what it was, I didn't get a chance to communicate this because of a lack of a check back. Service was adequate. Visit slightly ruined by the fact it was very hot but the awning wasn't out.
Lovely brunch - staff were really attentive and helpful (we had a 3yo and baby). Food was delicious, I recommend the breakfast burrito. Coffee was also lovely and warm! Upstairs looked really nice, would definitely return for an evening meal and cocktails.
Had soya latte, tasted if acid as if the coffee machine isn’t cleaned properly. Place looks nice, but not sure if I will go for a coffee there again. If you drive then you can park your car at car park close to Marks and Spencer but it is paid parking 30 min-£0.50/ 1h-£1.00/ 1,5h- £1.50.... there is outside seating which is great.
bar nice staff quite friendly but the food was poor quality. My tripled fried chips tasted stale and honestly like they had been reheated from the day before, waiter said must be their herbal salt but it wasnt at all. The paella was ok but greasy and rice wasnt properly cooked.
I go in regularly as a near by resident and it is always a great experience. The staff are always friendly, attentive and the different food and drinks I have sampled over many visits are always of good variety and quality. It has a lovely vibe to it whether it is a warm day with the front windows open or if it is at night with the dark and the lighting. There are many places that can overstretch themselves being a Breakfast, daytime and evening venue, but this place manages it very well and I have seen the same faces serving me for a long time since it opened which is a good sign that the owners treat their staff well and they are happy to be there despite it being open 7 days a week and the hours being long. I've also never seen any major complaints by other customers. Would recommend to anyone whatever you want out of your Café/Bar/Eaterie. Good Job Guys! Keep up the Good Work! :-)
