The 1934 Club opened in March 2013, and as a community-owned and managed facility its initial focus is on providing a service to the local neighbourhood.

The licensed bar carries a wide range of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and the regular opening hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

The Club is equipped with a jukebox, pool table and dartboard. It regularly hosts theme nights and entertainments and is popular with the locals and their families. Regular visitors to the area are encouraged to become associate members, and temporary membership is also available for those staying in the area for a week or two. Ask at the bar or Hall office for details.

The bar is available for private functions and can be made available to groups staying at the Haven bunkhouse outside the regular trading hours.
