Restored and renovated with a modern twist and reopened in November 2014.
Located in a Coaching Inn dating from the mid 19th Century, 10 Devonshire Place retains the nicer features of the period, but does away with inconveniences such as typhoid. We can’t be sure exactly when the Coaching Inn originally started trading, as back then Facebook didn’t have TimeLine, but it’s a lovely old building, and if you were interested in that kind of thing, we could tell you about some of our legendary ghosts.
You can, should you wish, sit in our protected bay window and look out over the famous Harrogate Stray, whilst our period – possibly listed – mahogany bar has ample space for you pint, pie, half eaten packet of smoked nuts, newspaper of, if you are that way inclined, mobile device. Smoked nuts are indeed available, or alternately you can smoke your nuts by the real fire; it is only lit on cold days, but this IS the north of England so we have plenty of them. The seats round the real fire are a great place to hold court, have a chat with friends or meet a character or two.
Featuring hot and cold water, top of the line electrical fixtures and fittings throughout, 10 Devonshire Place has a GSOH and WLTM a certain class of drinker for cosy nights together, maybe more?
We hold a wide range of events at our pub, constantly striving to bring you the best music, food and fermented fancies to be found.

Has been my local for 10 years, great friendly team, familiar faces, fab events and great drinks available. A little diamond!
Amazing pub, lovely decorated and very nice and pleasent staff....cant wait for the one mic night!
A truly great place to stop for a pint! Good selection of cask and draft ales and excellent service. Always a friendly atmosphere with the locals as well.
Quality local, less than 30 seconds away. Great, friendly staff (especially Courteney & Ali), a quality range of drinks, especially gins (Harrogate prices unfortunately) and 2 inside/outside smoking rooms. Plus a range of highly random board games, quiz nights, and live music Wednesdays. Haven't eaten here, except from the excellent range of bar snacks, and I mean really good range with some classics thrown in, but I hear the pizzas are good. Extremely dog-friendly with free bar-dog treats at the bar. Highly recommend
I love this pub so much. It's my local when I go back home (twice a year) and love the beer and laid back vibe. Met a bunch of friends there for a couple pints and we had a great time.
