I am a bit biased by going here for over 38 years and not been let down yet. Has a lovely atmosphere. Now a sports bar with tv's visible throughout the 4 rooms. Car park to rear of building also for warmer weather is a beer garden and children's play area. God range of beers, spirits, wines and cocktails.
Always a good atmosphere, a lovely beer garden for families, and good, homely and honest homecooked food, as opposed to the usual big franchise affairs serving frozen food. Worth a visit.
Great food served by friendly staff in a lovely little pub with a great atmosphere. The staff certainly aim to please.
Excellent outdoor meal with wonderful friendly service. I had the Unicorn burger with crunchy onion rings, steak strips, peppercorn sauce and homemade chips. The pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord went down a treat.
Lovely staff and food is well presented and of a good quality without a big expense. There's a good selection of beers and was playing xmas / chart music in the background which set a jolly mood. I'd come back again next time I'm in this neck of the woods.
