Better now since new Publicans taken over. Nice couple run the place now ( Jan 2024) do sell pork shacking in the tubs.. tvs and music.
Dont go here often but ive never had any trouble people seam nice and friendly
Didn't have food. Great music. Good option of beer. Sports on tv
Large spacious area lots of tv screens Area's outside front and back. Reasonable prices. No food service apart from bar snacks.
Lovely pub , sometimes you can smell the piss from the toilets though. It's smaller than most pubs but it's got great character and a good enough selection of drinks to choose from. It might look and seem a bit rough if you visit for the 1st time but I'm from the area and not bothered by it , it might seem like it though if your posh or visiting from a posh area. It's well worth a visit and a much better pub than the Glassblower on Bank Street.
