The pub is a burst of energy in every sip and bite! From vibrant drinks to zesty snacks, this spot screams lively. The upbeat tunes make it the go-to for a night of laughter and good times. The owner Jamie is great fun and amazing hospitality there.
WHAT A TASTY BURGER! Infact ALL the food is awesome and the Ale is divine. We go each week to go for some paddleboarding along the river. We pre order so when we come back our food arrives quite quickly. Which is adds to the great service. Location is amazing and though there is a main road adjacent the pub oozes calm and relaxed atmosphere. If you are using the river access the Owner requests that you Do Not Park in the car park as it is quite small and his customers who are coming and going need that space. I suggested he charges a £10-20 launch fee for river users. There is space in the road for 30+ cars.
Lovely food and a lovely venue. Good service and tasty food. Well priced and a nice location. Parking can be a little busy, but that shouldn't put you off
We arrived wondering how we were going to get the wheelchair in but Megan, our soon to be waitron, leapt into action and offered to assist us. This set the tone for the kind of service we were about to receive. Not only was she just amazeballs but the food was scrumptious and plenty thereof. What a fabulous afternoon out. Thanks to Megan, the chef and The White Hart!
This pub/restaurant is seriously great. The front of house is warm and welcoming. The food is on another level. The menu changes throughout the year and the chef uses fresh seasonal ingredients to make the most lovely food. Top level cookery at a reasonable price from a chef who really knows what they are doing! This place is truly a hidden gem. Yes it has a lovely outside area with a nice view of the river which is great in the warmer weather. But the real star of the show is the food which is amazing throughout the year! I look forward to eating here many more times.
