The Old Stables takes its name from the buildings that were previously on the site of the racecourse. The course officially opened on 21st May 1924. One of the most attractive racecourses in the country, Fontwell Park has been voted the Best Small Racecourse in the South East for several consecutive years.

Great pub. Been here several times now. Cosy and pleasant atmosphere. Menu is varied and has a good range of dishes. Had the meat pie, it was delicious. Thanks to Amber for making it a good experience. I specially like being asked about allergies. Highly recomend a visit if your in the neighbourhood.
Came to have a meal at lunchtime on 11th December. The atmosphere was great staff all pleasant. Nice to have a lovely meal. We were served by Amy S. She was so welcoming friendly. The pub was busy but she took it all in her stride, chatting to us and other customers. She is an asset to your business. Thank you Amy for making our lunch enjoyable
Wow the staff here are wonderful, so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, and the food was sensational! Honestly could not fault anything at all. Wish we lived close enough to visit more often!
Lovely pub. Nice atmosphere and decor with a real log fire for the winter. Good range of real ales. The pub is dog friendly with a jar of treats for the dog and water bowl. The food is reasonably priced, freshly cooked, well presented and plentiful. Importantly the staff member asked if we had any food allergies. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The toilets are upstairs which could be a problem for some people. I'm not sure if there was an accessible WC on the ground floor ( I didn't see one). Overall a good experience at this venue.
Food was brilliant, great atmosphere and top service. I had the beef & red wine lasagne and it was delicious, great portion size too. In particular, Kacie made us feel very welcome and happily catered to dietary needs. Fully recommend!
