We went late, at about 8:30pm, and the carver kindly gave us some extra pieces of meat for free as otherwise it would just go to waste. The carver that day was also extremely friendly! The food was really delicious and the gravy was so good. Well worth the price.
My friend and I visited for her birthday and opted for the 3 course Christmas menu which was lovely my friend had the pate and said it was lovely but the only down fall was could of done with an extra piece of bread. I had the baked mushrooms in cheese sauce and they were so good the sauce was divine and the garlic bread such a great match. The carvery was lovely some of the veg wasn't very warm but was delicious and the salted caramel profiteroles with ice cream was a lot bigger than expected and absolutely lush we left bursting at the seems. Such a lovely meal and friendly staff member
Enjoyed the environment with the new festoon lights outside, Christmas decorations etc. We were seated on time for our booking. The food was nice. There wasn't any lamb left but the chef said they'd been busy and the lamb is popular. We were a 6:10pm booking on a Sunday. Decent value for money and worth it for a roast without the washing up!

Went for a quick take away carvery, as they now box it up for you I was fobbed off with hard veg, cauliflower cheese with no cheese and what I can only explain as of cuts of beef. Pure fat and no meat. Staff also made me wait 30 minutes to box up the shambles of a meal. If I could award 0 starts on all basis I would. I would never return for a repeat experience. Absolutely disgusting and they should be ashamed to serve such tripe!
