The Virgins and Castle is one of the oldest pubs in Warwickshire built in the late fifteenth century and first used as a pub in 1563.
We offer a unique range of English and Filipino food using fresh local ingredients prepared daily in our kitchen and our cellar is well stocked with some fantastic cask ales and excellent wines.
The pub is full of character with lots of rooms and niches all spread around the two bars and a slightly more formal dining area for the evenings. A heated walled garden can be found at the rear of the pub.

Excellent! We found this venue by chance - it had a table for us. Very clean and a lovely atmosphere- really friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic and served with care - absolutely recommend!!! Go and enjoy as we did!!!!
Nice place. Tuesday quiz very good good brill quiz master. Can't comment on food as haven't eaten there. Would have rated higher but drink prices are far too high which is why I don't use the pub much 🤔

Great pub with an extensive menu. We visited on a Wednesday night so there weren’t many people in but that was fine for us. Waiters/waitresses were attentive without being overbearing, food arrived within a reasonable time. Prices are on the higher side - I chose the cauliflower steak which cost the same price as the sea bass or a steak but sadly did not deliver on taste - can’t help feeling that this was a vegan tax.
Had breakfast here, ordered a full English (eggs, tomato, beans, sausage, bacon, bread, black pudding) with scrambled eggs. Breakfast took 50 minutes (I was there at 11am on a Saturday, there were about 7 other people in the pub). When I got the food, the eggs were fried and the black pudding was missing. The order was rectified after mentioning it. Wouldn't come here for breakfast again. Slow service, problems when i did get it, london prices (the full English in the picture costs £11.50 lol). Update: just seen there's some pictures from the owner of a full English that looks nothing like the one I ordered. Marking this down from a 3 to a 2.
