This pub has been fully refurbished to a high modern standard and you just need to pop in and have a look and you will be made very warm and welcome.
Well we have recently had a full pub refurbishment done on march 2013.
It has been up dated to a high modern standard and everyone is welcome, Our resident DJ's will rock the house and get you up to sing to any song you want.
we have several dart boards and a new pool table you can use and we have a Big Screen TV for all sorts of sports and films you need.
We have an outside beer garden and a large car part for parking that is a P+D but we give a full refund if you are one of our guests so parking is FREE.We also have disabled access too.
we have a large range of spirits , wines and drinks and a new product we have just started selling that is called Murphys.
we have two different quiz's that are done on thursdays and saturdays.
If you need to book our rooms for a party or christning etc then the room is FREE but we require a small deposit only to cover if the room is not left the same way it was at the begining of the night.
Why not come in and have a go at Find The Lady or have Pints for Pennies.

Quiz night. First time I have been there for more than 40 years. It's changed, pleasant enough.
Called in for a pint, first time for a few years. Was pleasantly surprised, all refurbished nice and clean. Good pint with friendly staff. I will be back

Things to love.. The staff, barmaid was canny as was the chef, who makes a mean mince n dumplings, the meal was lovely.. Even the veg, properly cooked roasties were lovely, green beans cooked perfectly. Carrots perfect.. The only thing letting this experience down was a lack of choice for soft drinks.. No appetiser or similar If you go on a Wednesday for the midweek carvery.. Its busy, but definitely worth a visit. Don't expect fancy decor.. But if you like good food and nice people it's worth a visit. So.. As far as ratings are concerned 5/5 for the food and the chef who served us.. Lovely bloke. 5/5 for the barmaid, lovely lass.. who even helped out with a cooling aid for a baby bottle. 4/5 for drinks choice and they need better (less rickety) seats. Get the feeling it would be better laid out the other way around.. Pool table in the smaller room and tables for food in the other side.. Def., make more money..
Best food and drink and friendly atmosphere. Must say great pint and the food is to die for...
