Emma was amazing She recommended the amazing tomahawk steak meal to share for our anniversary. Service was spot on and food delicious, lovely to return after 6 years since getting married here in 2017 now with two little ones Emma you made our day! Absolutely tasteless chicken schnitzel (£13), less than a handful of chips, the terrine was also very bland, and the mushroom tagliatelle unfortunately also had the same problems....but with the added bonus of being way too oily. Nice atmosphere though, although cold in the back with no fire going! Won't go back, unless only for a drink.
The Red Barn is absolutely wonderful. The service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. We ordered a lot of food for a table of five and we had a very pleasant experience. Everyone finished their meal and really enjoyed the beers and cocktails. What we ordered was a charcuterie board to share, I ordered the soup of the day, and my friends ordered the fish and chips, shepherds pie and side of veggies. All of it was super delicious and I loved all the fresh ingredients. I also enjoy the espresso martini and the fresh Guinness. Atmosphere is very pleasant, many places to sit and there is plenty of parking. They have both indoor and outdoor seating so it’s also great for any sort of events . I highly recommend this restaurant.
Firstly it's an amazing looking pub. The outside area has loads of seating, including a few tables and chairs set up to over look the large pond. Inside it's really big and spacious with exposed beams and a real fire. Foodwise we had the roast which was great, although the potatoes let it down a bit. Son had the burger which he loved albeit it was on the smaller side. Whilst the staff were really friendly we did find ourselves having to chase a bit.
Nicely restored farmhouse and barn as a sophisticated pub and restaurant. The whole experience of having a relaxing drink at the bar and then followed up by a dinner at the restaurant is simply amazing. Serving staff is always courteous and polite. Quality of food is a minor let down.
